When we were left to our own devices we were looking at too many properties and trying to convince ourselves that certain compromises were worth it - they weren’t. What was so clear very quickly is they knew exactly how the market was going to behave. Simon would be able to guess within 20-30k a price that something would sell for even if the listing price was well off. In the end Simon was part realtor and part therapist (poor guy) as I was a very anxious first time buyer. He listened to my concerns and we talked through all the realities until I was ready.
